The Department of Horticultural Science is pleased to announce that Ms. Rhonda Sherman, Extension Specialist from the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, will become a member of our department on September 1, 2016. Rhonda holds a 100% Extension appointment and her areas of expertise are vermicomposting, composting, recycling and waste reduction. You may also be familiar with the annual NC State Vermiculture Conference coordinated and run by Rhonda. Many thanks to Anne Spafford for arranging a seminar and “meet and greet” opportunity for us in Kilgore Hall to become acquainted with Rhonda and her work.
